Bharti Sewa Sadan Trust

Bharti Sewa Sadan Trust is a Govt. registered organization situated in Araria, Bihar founded in 2014 with the passion to help and serve the deprived and disadvantaged people of urban slums and in rural areas of Araria(Bihar District). Our organization has been working for the overall social-economic-educational development among the rural areas of Bihar. BHARTI SEWA SADAN TRUST Society is now effective in Araria (Bihar) District. The key target groups are Dalits (the so-called untouchables or lowest caste group), children, child laborers, disadvantaged youth, rural women and unorganized rural laborers.

The main motto of our organization is removing illness and illiteracy through mobile health services & improving the knowledge and creating awareness among the local people. Besides providing quick treatment to the slums, we try to empower poor and distress women of the rural areas and also work on other awareness programs. We try to involve the residents and the local administration in our programs for better results.

Araria district is one of the thirty-eight districts of Bihar state, India, and Araria town is the administrative headquarters of this district. Araria district is a part of the Purnea division. The district occupies an area of 2830 sq km. It has a view of Mount Kanchenjunga(One of the great peaks of the Himalayan range) This district has a total of 2 subdivisions namely Araria and Forbesganj and 9 blocks. Araria sub-division comprises six blocks: Araria, Jokihat, Kursakanta, Raniganj, Sikti and Palasi, and Forbesganj sub-division comprises three blocks: Forbesganj, Narpatganj, and Bhargama. There are six Vidhan Sabha constituencies in this district: Narpatganj, Raniganj(SC), Forbesganj, Araria, Jokihat, and Sikti. All of these are part of Araria Lok Sabha constituency.

Mission

To establish, run, maintain and/or grants-in-aid to hospital, medical colleges or schools, nursing homes, maternity homes for the general public.

To run Mobile health care service in Punjab state for urban, rural and the common public similarly as Bihar.

Objective

To create a positive change in the lives of the economically underprivileged and underserved people of Araria, Bihar. We want to execute programs with high efficiency and minimized costs through partnerships with other renowned NGOs through dimensional support for the entire family and not just for the woman. We are researching and developing innovative solutions to the problems of urban people. We take care of the matter that programs must meet our benchmark of Quality & Beneficiary satisfaction. This goal will be measured according to the participation and reported benefits of practitioners’ involvement in mutual learning, exchange, training, and capacity building activities.
